reality does lie

Slender beams of moonlight enter this darkened chamber as I kneel, always lost, always despairing, frozen here, waiting. Angelic forms wrought in panes of glass loom as dust dances in the air, forming an image in my mind, penetrating my secret soul. Tears on a lover's face. It is a night of dark desire, a song of darkness, wolves vent their loneliness. The beautiful one rises. Curling, icy wisps of death shrouds her stalking form, an eternal wanting. Her raven hair cascades over translucent ivory shoulders, and her full blood red lips part slightly, to taste the death streaming from the pale flesh beneath her. Now a night of vitality, I hunger. this secret keeps me captive
so many emotions cloud my decision
curiosity and desire burn deep inside
drifting further from my grasp with uncanny precision
though i hope for his open arms
fear holds me in a darkened world
as time ticks on toward eternity
will i forever be just a girl?
i wait for revelation
